I got it like that lol... no, seriously, I have learned that self-love is one of the toughest classes to master- no piece of cake, but it is a great prize. I love myself enough to grab for better things. i know i deserve better. I mean, why should i settle for getting aproximately what i want, when i can have exactly what i want. i make other people feel proud they are needed by me. In order to make an impression on the world, i've got to stay open to all possibilities, not just the obvious ones. i accept what i have right now and im trying to make the best of it, not letting moments slip from. And thanking God for every one of those moments.I believe in life, its easy to be overly critical of yourself, but everyone makes mistakes...

I love black folk! there's nothin like them. with bl folks, everything starts late and ends late. time is just a thang. Bl folks' philosophy about time is "we may not be on time, but we're in time, and we dont want to miss anything". Bl folks arrive late for weddings, funerals, and sunday church services! And act like they're on time. Bl folks will go to social functions, particularly at church, and not stay for the program, but want to wrap up some food to take home as if the event is fast food "take out". When some black preachers cant think of what else to say during sermon, will say, "look at your neighbor and say, God loves u!" Every bl family has a preacher. when a lead choir member cant reach a high note or has forgotten the words, the choir members will get filled with the "holy ghost," get happy, shout and not finish the song. A bl gospel group can sing 3 words for 20mins. In a bl church, the announcements are longer than the sermon. Bl floks cry and pass out at the funeral, but are fine and laughing at the dinner follwing the interment. Bl folks will ask grandparents to watch their kids while they run an errand but dont pick them up till 2 days later. Bl folks refer to diabetes as sugar. Bl cahiers always seem to have an attitude. Bl folks stay engaged for 6yrs and never get married. Bl folks will have the phone comp shut off their house phone but still have a cell phone on. Bl folks put hot sauce and ketchup on everything. Bl folks have at least one fam member that "almost" made it to the pros. IN SPITE OF ALL THEIR PECULIAR WAYS, I STILL LOVE BL FOLKS! DONT U? U'D BETTER CUZ U IS ONE!
